its been 4 days since i arrived in LA... after a day n a half of sobbing n more sobbing, that i was awy from home... talking on the phone with loved ones didnt help...
 after priyanka took me to my fav diner in LA, dennys....i started enjoying the place a lil bit. 2 eggs, toast, chicken patty, pancakes and a cup of hot chocolate with whipped cream later, the place felt like home... the way to my heart is through my stomach... as well...
the weekend went by quickly, went to santa monica both the nights and the grove on sunday as well.(thanks to murli, ankush n ruchika).. ate at 1-2 other restaurants. went and opened a bank account. went to the DMV today which reminded me of the ration card lines in India. standing outside the DMV for an hour in the sun, got inside and waited another hr only to get a receipt with my address wrong... got lost outside without a phone went back in when i realised the mistake. the lady who gave me the receipt had left for lnuch, requested another woman to change my address. and bam! 3 hrs later im done, only to miss my tram and wait  for another 15 min. thankfully in shade this time. i loveeee VERY sunny california!
cooked for the first time, grocery shopped for the first time and sat all dayyy at home for the first time. i feel like a housewife!!
oh well, im getting the hang of things... everyday feels like a new challenge with the "fobby" things that i do...!  :D
